This form of massage involves using a variety of techniques such as long, flowing strokes, kneading, and deep circular movements to  manipulating the soft tissues of the body promoting relaxation, improve circulation, and alleviate muscle tension. The overall goal of a Swedish massage is to create a sense of well-being and balance in the body and mind.

The pressure can vary from light to firm depending on the client's preferences and needs. It is important to communicate your preference with the therapist.

Relaxation

Deep Tissue Massage is a type of massage therapy that focuses on realigning deeper layers of muscles and connective tissue. 

It is beneficial for chronic aches and pains, muscle tension, and improving overall flexibility and range of motion. The Massage Therapist uses slow, firm pressure and techniques to target the deeper layers of tissue. 

It may be slightly uncomfortable at times, but it should not be painful. It is important to communicate with the therapist about your comfort level during your massage.

Deep Tissue

Indie Head Massage is a form of massage therapy that focuses on the scalp, face, neck, shoulders, and upper back.

Originating in India and based on Ayurvedic healing techniques, the therapist uses a combination of gentle, rhythmic, percussive massage techniques and acupressure to release tension, improve circulation, and promote relaxation.

Known for its ability to reduce stress, relieve headaches, improve sleep, and promote overall well-being. It is a soothing and rejuvenating experience that can help to relax both the body and mind.

Indie Head Massage

Himalayan Salt Stone Massage is a type of massage therapy that involves using heated salt stones to massage the body. The stones are made from pure Himalayan salt, which is believed to have various health benefits due to its high mineral content. 

During a Himalayan salt stone massage, the therapist will heat the salt stones and then use them to massage the client's body. The warmth of the stones helps to relax the muscles and improve circulation, while the minerals in the salt are said to help detoxify the body and promote overall well-being.

Himalayan Salt Stone

A hot stone massage is a type of massage therapy that involves the use of heated basalt stones, a type of volcanic rock that retains heat. Known for its deeply relaxing and soothing effects, makes it a popular choice for those looking to unwind and de-stress. 

The smooth, flat stones are heated in a water bath and placed on specific points on the body. The therapist may also hold the stones and use them to massage the client's muscles.

The heat from the stones helps to relax the muscles, allowing the therapist to reach deeper tissues and apply more pressure if desired. The warmth of the stones also helps to improve circulation and promote a sense of relaxation and well-being. 

It is important to communicate with the therapist about the level of heat and pressure during the massage to ensure a comfortable and enjoyable experience.

Hot Stone

Manual Lymphatic Drainage is a technique to stimulate the natural removal of waste, toxins and excess fluid from the body.  The primary role of the lymphatic system is to maintain fluid balance (lymph & water), support immune defense and transport cellular waste from the tissues towards lymph nodes and cleaned lymph fluid towards the heart.

With a gentle, rhythmic stretching and pulling of the skin, pressure is increased towards the natural direction of lymph flow.  The parasympathetic nervous system is actived, allieviating stress by slowing the heart rate and allowing the mind & body to relax.

All treatments begin with stimulation to the lymph vessels and nodes along the sides of the neck and top of the shoulders, this clears the large lymphatic pathways and prepares them for increased lymphatic flow.
